Certification Process

Application Submission
Candidates are required to submit a completed application form with necessary documents like qualifications, experience, and certifications.

Eligibility Review
Applications are reviewed to ensure candidates meet the eligibility criteria defined by the relevant standard.

Assessment
Candidates undergo structured assessments like exams, practical, and interviews to evaluate competence.

Certification Decision
Based on results, candidates who meet criteria are granted certification.

Certification Renewal
Certified individuals undergo periodic reviews to maintain competencies and professional development.

Appeals and Complaints
AMJ ensures a fair appeals process for certification decisions.

Suspending or Withdrawing the Certification
Suspension is a temporary measure applied to allow corrective action if a certified person fails to comply with certification requirements, ethical obligations, or recertification conditions, or in cases of misuse of the certificate or confirmed misconduct.
Termination of certification occurs when nonconformities are not resolved or in cases of serious violations.

Recertification Process
Recertification may be completed up to six (6) months before or within six (6) months after the certification expiry date, subject to continued compliance with certification requirements.

Use of Certificates, Logos and Marks
Certified persons may use certificates, logos, and certification marks only in accordance with the rules and conditions defined by AMJ. Such use shall not be misleading and shall not imply certification beyond its approved scope.
