The Safety and Security Officer – Hotel Sector program prepares learners to maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests, staff, and assets within hotels, resorts, and hospitality establishments. The focus is on risk prevention, emergency response, and compliance with safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor security systems (CCTV cameras and alarm devices).
- Implement entry and exit procedures and verify identification.
- Enforce safety regulations (emergency exits, firefighting equipment).
- Provide initial response in emergency or incident situations.
- Prepare periodic reports on safety and security incidents.

Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Completion of the AMJ admission application form.
- High School Diploma, Higher Institute Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Completion of specialized training programs is preferred.
- Attendance of the online general orientation session at least 24 hours prior to registration.
- Recommended: Basic English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
