The certified individual is qualified to prepare medical instruments, assist in clinical procedures, and apply infection control and patient safety protocols across healthcare settings.
The certificate holder demonstrates the ability to accurately document medical information, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and support minor emergency cases under appropriate supervision, in alignment with established clinical standards and professional practices.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in transporting patients within the healthcare facility.
- Support nurses and doctors during treatments.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
- Prepare patient rooms with essential tools and supplies.

Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Graduation from a Nursing Institute.
- Holding a valid professional practice license from the Nursing Syndicate.
- Completion of specialized training programs is preferred.
- Completion of the AMJ admission application form.
- Completion of the online general orientation session at least 24 hours before registration.
- Purchase and wear the Medical Assistant Program uniform during all classes.
- Recommended: Basic English skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
